About a week ago, a rough video that was leaked was posted to the internet that revealed (albeit briefly) for the first time what Venom will look like when Spider-Man 3 is released next year. Sony execs were fuming and ordered that the clip be removed immediately but not before several people (including me) got a sneak peak at the ferocious foe of one Peter Parker/Spider-Man who goes by the name of Eddie Brock/Venom ("We Are Venom Now!").
For the unlucky ones who never got the chance to see that clip, they had a second chance last night during the network television premiere of Spider-Man 2 which played clips and interviews at commercial breaks of Spider-Man 3. For the even unluckier ones who missed that also, you have another chance to view it here (no need to thank me ;) This is not the same video that was illegaly posted a week earlier although it has many of the same scenes.
Once again we get to see the spectacular Sandman and Harry taking over as the New Goblin. But if you want to catch a glimpse of Venom, then do not blink at the 26 second mark, for that is when he ever so briefly lunges at the viewer. So without further ado, here it is:
