Zazzle Introduces Dog T-Shirts!

Zazzle.com has listened to the demand of its customers and finally unveiled its long-awaited line of pet apparel, specifically dogs. In my opinion, it is better than what Cafepress has to offer since Zazzle offers a couple different styles and way more colours. Don't worry about finding a size that fits your dog either. Zazzle has that covered, whether your dog is the star of those Taco Bell commercials or his name is Marmaduke. If your dog is Hercules or Clifford, real or not, then you may have a problem.

Certainly, these shirts would have no problem fitting Mr. Mugs, whom Canadian readers who grew up in the 70's and 80's will remember.

Here is one of my favourites called "Bad to the Bone" by another artist.

For more dog apparel, check out these sweatshop-free, dog t-shirts and hoodies at Yellow Hydrant. All apparel is made in USA and Canada.

Family Dog

Once upon a time, there was a TV show called "Amazing Stories" that ran about, oh.... twenty years ago or so. It was conceived by Steven Spielberg and he even directed a few episodes.

Amazing stories was an anthology series, meaning it was much like "The Twilight Zone" in that each episode was unrelated and there were no regular actors. Much of it dealt with themes of fantasy, supernatural, sci-fi etc. It only ran for two seasons and every episode was live action except for one. That episode was "Family Dog".

Family Dog was the only animated episode and was directed by the same man who directed the animated movie, "The Iron Giant". It was about a middle-class family with a family dog who was not thought of very fondly. A few years later, it spawned its own weekly TV series but it could never capture the original magic of this episode. Have a look now at Family Dog.
